These last two posts make it look like I'm some sort of alcoholic, but I rarely drink. I just hate to live in a state that has such an obvious church rule. The alcohol laws in Utah are ridiculous. This blog on Utah Beer points out yet another stupid law that we have to endure. Note- it is not just "alco-pops" that are being removed from store shelves but also flavored beers such as raspberry wheat beer or apricot pale ales. Also Anheuser-Buschis saying that they won't even distribute their flavored malt beverages within state borders because dealing with the laws and red tape isn't worth the headache.
I miss a state that I haven't even lived in yet.

LDS church issues a statement on alcohol...
I love living in a state where there is NO separation of church and state. Read here to see what I mean.

Closer
The only real disappointment that Christian had was that they didn't play Star F**ker. He really likes that song. I had no disappointments at all. It was so great.

Hurt
When Hurt began it was after the stage had gone dark and I thought that the show was over. They had already been playing for almost 2 hours at this point. Then the single spotlight shone down on Trent and he started singing. I shot this video in 2 parts because I happened to get a text right in the middle of it.

Nine Inch Nails
Christian and I went to the Nine Inch Nails concert last night. It was AMAZING!!! I have never been to a concert where the main band played for 2 1/2 hours with total enthusiasm. Trent Reznor and his band rocked on stage. I have no words to describe just how awesome this was. I have video that I shot that I will post after I get back from school. Hopefully I will be able to describe my experience by then too.
