Sheryl
Sheryl is a student at Ameritech College of Nursing. I had the privilege to work with her one on one during her final semester of school. She is so smart and quick to pick up on things. Now that she is finished I really miss working with her. She is going to be an awesome RN!
Poor girl was sick with a cold her last day with me. She had to wear a mask so she wouldn't pass it along.
Here we are at about 5:30 am at the end of our shift.

Crazy year so far
I know that we are only in to 2009 3 weeks but we have had a lot of stuff going on. My 33rd birthday was January 7th. I feel better at 33 than I did at 23! Christian and I went to Las Vegas for MLK weekend. I'll put up the pictures soon. Katie fell down the stairs at her dad's house and broke her toe. We started a new semester at school so we're back in the grind. I had my first preceptor student at the hospital and she finished her time with me on Tuesday night. Sheryl is going to be a great nurse! I would write more now, but it's time to get ready for work. I'll expand on all of these when I get time.

Snowing like mad
It started snowing around 2 in the afternoon on Monday and it is still going. I have no idea how many inches we have gotten but it is deep enough to go well up your pant leg when you step in it. It is perfect Utah powder which probably makes the skiers and snow boarders really happy. I just have to put up with it.
The reflection from a snowflake that was just passing by.
The two little, glowing, orange dots in the door frame are Macho Man's eyes. He wanted to see what Christian was doing. My Saturn is off to the side.

Christmas (better late than never)
We had a great Christmas. Sheldon and Dawn came down for a while, then Shawn and Cass with their two kids. My mom, Stef and Roscoe came over about that same time so the house was packed to capacity. Millie (Lizzie's best friend who recently moved to Texas) showed up only minutes later. We had five kids for the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Christian had to be mister mom 4 nights while I worked and he handled it like a trooper.
Dawn and Drew
Sheldon and William
Dawn with her new back massager
Me with the socks and slippers my sister bought me.
Christian and new underwear!!!
William's Zelda shirt. He LOVED it!
Liz with the hoodie style handbag that Christian bought her.
All Katie wanted was slouchy boots. These ones got returned (wrong size) and and even slouchier pair purchased.
Drew with her new hat and her art kit.
