New Camera!

Yesterday I bought a new camera. It is a super fancy one, and I will have to read the instruction booklet to really understand how to use it. In the meantime, I took a couple of pictures just to get the hang of it. Here there are:

I should update this thing...

I am a bad blogger. A bad blogger in need of a camera. I need to update this blog and post pictures for my mother-in-law especially. It is her main form of seeing what is happening in our lives since she's in Chile for now.
So here's a quick update: I'm in grad school, Christian is working towards his degree. We are both working full time, too. Lizzie is starting her second year of college already. Katie is in 11th, Drew in 7th, and William in 6th. I'm not sure why my babies thought I would be ok with them growing up!

We got a black lab named Sir Charles Henry Cornelous from a rescue. Macho Man has almost forgiven us for this deed.

I will post pictures from our summer adventures soon. When I have some "spare time"!

Katie's Prom

Katie was finally well enough to go to Prom with all of her friends from Timpview. It was a fun time for all and they had a great time. All the girls were beautiful and the boys looked great! It is so great to have our Katie well and having fun again.

Official Christmas Picture 2010

We decided to take a silly family Christmas picture this year.  We all dressed up like it was 1987 and then let the pictures come.  Our friend, Mark Johnston, took all the pictures. We had a great time doing them.

Cholesterol and Marathon training

Christian and I have both been diagnosed with high cholesterol.  I have known about mine for a little while, but he just found out last week.  Even though neither of us are insanely huge, we both pack around a few extra pounds.  Starting this week, we will be on low cholesterol diets.  I will have to figure out how to do this and have everything taste good.

Strangely enough, without knowing about Christian's high cholesterol but realizing that we needed some fitness goals, Christian and I signed up to run the Ogden Marathon with Team in Training.  They are with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and they help us train for a marathon, and in turn, we raise money for leukemia research.  I'm pretty excited for it!  I think I'm going to create a separate blog about our training adventures starting next week.  I hope to have a new camera by then since mine is not working so well anymore. 

Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve was spent at my mom's house in Provo.  We had Christmas morning at home.  It was great to have all four kids at home this year.  Lizzie spent a week with us since all of her roommates were out of town.  Drew got to stay for 10 days this year.  It was a great Christmas!

We got married!

Christian and I got married on October 2, 2010.  It was so awesome.  I could tell you, but you still wouldn't be able to believe how awesome it was.  Really.  I am so glad that so many of our friends and family were able to come and spend the day with us.  I want to have a wedding reunion where everyone who came comes back so I can hang out with them some more.  The day was like a whirlwind!  A whirlwind filled with awesome.
