Drew's first concert

We took Drew to her first concert on October 8. It was the "Big Ass Show 2011" presented by a local radio station. It was a full day event with 11 bands playing. We got there late on purpose and saw the last 6 bands.

I ran into my friend Sommerset from nursing school

She was so excited!

Zombie!

There were zombies everywhere!
This is us standing in the line for food. It took more than 1 hour to get to the front.

There is a zombie right behind Drew!

Lizzie bought these shoes in the morning before the concert. They were pretty yucky by the end of the day.
Drew had a lot of fun at her first concert. We are glad that we get to have her come to our house more often now. Thanksgiving better hurry and get here!

San Fran, the final day

Happy Anniversary!

Me and my "Old Man of the Sea"

The last day in San Francisco was just as beautiful as the previous two. We enjoyed perfect temperatures in the mid 70s. These pictures were all taken just outside of our hotel, which was six miles south of downtown S.F. The last day in town consisted of us going to eat at the restaurant next to our hotel and then flying home. Most of our 1st wedding anniversary was spent in airports!

We made it to Chinatown

More Waldos!

Chicken feet and black ducks...

Wall of Pocky!

They were having a "Longevity Celebration" and these older Chinese ladies danced.

The Cable Car Museum. Each of those cables are currently running the cable cars through town.

The oldest known cable car in the world!

This beautiful mansion survived the 1906 earthquake and fires

This hotel survived the 1906 events as well

The beautiful Episcopalian cathedral on Nob Hill

A cute little neighborhood pub

We stopped in for a drink

Japantown! So different from Chinatown.

There was a huge glob of wasabi under each piece of fish.

Christian was really tearing up from all that wasabi!

Such beautiful duplexes and town houses.
