Today my Uncle David and Aunt Kathy came to visit. I haven't seen them since 1999. They brought their daughter Catherine and son Eric. It was the first time I had met Eric and they had met William. It was so good seeing them again. The kids got along so great. I'll post some pics as soon as I get them transfered to the computer. Too cute!

Graduation
Last week I paid for my cap and gown for graduation. It was really cool since I didn't graduate from high school to pick out the things I wanted for that day. The guy behind the desk asked if I was graduating with honors. I didn't know, so he pointed me to another table where they could look up my information and see. I went to that desk and asked if I was receiving any honors or high honors. The lady told me that I was graduating with a 3.76 GPA- honors. I was really excited. Then I found out that the cutoff for high honors was a 3.8 GPA. I am so close and it is bugging me so much! I should just be happy about what I have and get over it.
On April 25th, I will be walking the stage to receive my diploma with so many of my nursing school friends. It means so much to me to know that through all the hard times I stuck with it. I am proud that my kids will be watching me. It has truly paid off to remember that I deserve this.

First Blog
My name is Heather. I live in Provo right now while I'm going to UVSC (UVU) to get my associates degree in Nursing. Who knows where I'll go from here, depends on where I go for my bachelors degree. My plan at this moment is to keep going until I am a Nurse Practitioner.
I have three great kids- Liz, Katie, and William. I am dating the most fabulous guy in the world, Christian, and have been since April 13, 2007. I love his daughter, Drew, and count her as one of my own.
I'll be using this blog to keep my friends and family up to date on what's happening in our family.
